A Snorkeling We Will Go

The second day in Kauai we went snorkeling for a couple of hours. I loved it! Snorkeling is so much fun and even more fun when I'm not worried about Miss Fabulous all the time.

Some fish. John could tell you the names of all of them, but I have no idea and I'm too lazy to look them up.
More fish. It was fun to see two different fish swimming along together.
Two more wierdos swimming together.
John wished he had his spear with him. We saw some huge parrot fish and John says they are good eating...like we could have cooked them anywhere.
This turtle swam right up to me! It was smaller than most of the turtles we see off the shores on Oahu but I thought it was great that he came so close!
This fish kept hanging around us. It was so colorful!
Can you see the eel? I saw him and had to call the guys back so they could see him too.
I hope we get a chance to snorkel when we go to Maui. Mostly we see a lot of the same fish but it is still great fun!

Nearly 5 weeks...

I've been told I need to update the blog so here are several pictures of little Star. She is now just over 11 lbs. and just shy of 23" long. She is just a bit big. Miss Fabulous was nearly 4 months old before she got as big as our Star! She is fun and really cuddly. She really loves to eat (thus the big size!) and sleep but seems to be wanting to be on the move. John has dubbed her "Scooter" because she is never where we put her. She rolled over from her back to her tummy the other day! Still not great at night...sometime she just wants to be awake, but last night she slept 7 hours straight and I'm hoping its the beginning of a trend! Miss Fabulous just LOVES her little sister and is always trying to help. MF is doing a little better in school with a lot of help from her teacher and some from us at home. We are starting her in a program at school where they help children deal with transition, which seems to be the biggest part of her problem. The progr...
