All about me...

I Love, Love, LOVE taking pictures. Unfortunately (or fortunately...depending on who you are and how much you love the girl), Miss Fabulous is usually my only subject...well, her and nature that is. Wow...that sentence was terrible. Oh well. Anyway. I love taking pictures and my friends have asked me to take some family pictures for them which means...I get to take MORE PICTURES!!! Bwahahahaha! (there was a lightening flash in there somewhere)
Whew. So after I get done maybe I'll post a few if they don't mind.
While I'm on the subject of me, as if I'm ever on any other subject, I'll tell you some other things I love...
As most of you normal readers (as opposed to ab-normal readers?) know I love to paint. I still do but since MF decided to amputate the brush end of my all my good brushes with her super blunt scissors, the painting is totally on hold until I raise some extra fundage. Get that? Big bummer for me. Totally.
Okay. I love to read a good book. I dislike reading a bad book. Sometimes my hands don't know the difference until I get home from the library and start digesting them but it all comes out in the wash. Whatever. Anyhow, I just read Island of the Blue Dolphins by so and so (I'm terrible at names and am lucky I remembered the title) and it was a GREAT book. I loved it. Interesting and based on a true story.
I love to complete a sewing project. No, I did not say I love to sew. The "unpleasant words" come out when I sew. I do a relatively decent job (my mom would laugh...she's amazing at sewing and is a bit...hehehe...of a perfectionist in that area) but get frustrated easily. I do LOVE to complete a project though and work best with an impending deadline. And don't ask me to sew anything for you because you may never see it finished. Just a heads up.
I love electronic gadgets. Not to say I'm good at working them or fixing them or any of that, but they are sure fascinating!
I love Office supplies. Rarely do I need them but I...must...have...my...(fill in the name of any office supply or even art supply).
I love cooking. LOVE IT! I wish I had unlimited resources on foods to work with so I could try new recipes all the time. I have had my share of failures but the successes are oh, so tasty!
I love blogs. I'm not very good at posting often. About twice a week is about all I can muster. But I love to read what my family and friends are doing and keep up on the every day adventures of the the people whom I have never met and probably never will. I also love comments. (no, really, I LOVE comments! I'm just not so good at commenting. Yes, its a double standard and I'm unfair like that.)
Most of all I LOVE my family. I mean, who can help but love them? MF is too cute (even when she IS sassy) and thinks she's soooo grown up but also thinks that at some point she will grow into a baby again (weirdo). And John can do anything, can be so sweet (when he feels like it, gosh!), and can fix ANYTHING...even if it IS just a corroded wire. hehehe.
What do you love, love, LOVE?

Baby Madelyn! Who does not love a new baby! Baby's can do no wrong, can not back talk, and are so sweet to cuddle with! I fell asleep when you left last night, and woke up at 4am in the same position with Madelyn! Even when you are tired and in pain from natural child birth it is so worth is for a new baby!

I love your blog!!!!! I feel like I talk to you all of the time, because I can read your blog! You are so too, too cute, the way you say things! Much cuter than my blog! You are great to write about yourself, whether its good or bad days. I like the music and of course I love the pics!!! I love you Katie!!
love, Brooke
Hey girl!

I see you have a bloglist too! I JUST added mine and saw that you were the first to update your blog.

Okay, did it not totally SUCK to add all the names to your bloglist? And I have stinkin' 52 names! Of course I didn't know that until my bloglist told me so.

I love your blogs! I SO love that you call your daughter Miss Fabulous! I get a kick out of it all the time. Sometimes I call Courtney that. But mostly I call her "Miss Thang". I bet your daughter and mine would be the best of friends....or the worst of enemies! Kidding. Courtney loves being fabulous and I think MF and her would just add that much more fabulousness to each other.

I LOVE my husband, my boys and my baby girl!
I also love cooking, reading, blogging, photography and so much more.
Scott O'Dell wrote a sequel to Island of the Blue Dolphins. Its called Zia.
I love reading Newberry Award Winners. There are a lot of lame books out there, (some Newberry ones are lame too, but most are good) so it can be hard to find a good book sometimes. When I am in doubt I usually try for a Newberry Award winning Author or Newberry Honor book.
