Nearly 5 weeks...

I've been told I need to update the blog so here are several pictures of little Star. She is now just over 11 lbs. and just shy of 23" long. She is just a bit big. Miss Fabulous was nearly 4 months old before she got as big as our Star! She is fun and really cuddly. She really loves to eat (thus the big size!) and sleep but seems to be wanting to be on the move. John has dubbed her "Scooter" because she is never where we put her. She rolled over from her back to her tummy the other day! Still not great at night...sometime she just wants to be awake, but last night she slept 7 hours straight and I'm hoping its the beginning of a trend! Miss Fabulous just LOVES her little sister and is always trying to help.
MF is doing a little better in school with a lot of help from her teacher and some from us at home. We are starting her in a program at school where they help children deal with transition, which seems to be the biggest part of her problem. The program helps them set goals and work towards them. We hope to not have any more phone calls from the school counselors or negative notes from the teacher. We have seen a lot of attitude and sass from her since she started school but that has started to fade too. Things are possibly settling down so we shall see!
Here are the pictures...as promised:

Angry girl!
Working on rolling over
Love the hair!
Not the picture I had in mind, but it will work...I'll try to find the one I was looking for. :0)
Gazing at the sunset.

Oh no! Star's booties keep falling off! They barely fit those feet!

Ah! I want to hold her!
I have a very similar picture of my oldest two where the older bro is kissing the baby, and #2 is screaming.
I love Penny's yellows dress, so dang cute! I think she looks a lot like you Katie!

Oh! I forgot to mention...the yellow dress is my blessing dress. I'm the second girl in my family and thought I'd pass it on to my second girl. I'm so glad it still fit her! I need to get a few more of her in it before she is completely out of it!

I love the pictures! She is so beautiful! She looks a little like MF, but with different hair.
It is nice to see that both families were able to make it to see you already. We love you!

Hey there Katie. I am so glad I found you on facebook. Thank Joanne Mitchell for that one, and I am even more excited to see that you have a blog. I love them so much more than the other social networks. Ours is www.theagres.blogspot.com. Looks like the family is growing and growing. I can't believe how big MF is! Wow, time flies. How long have you been in Hawaii now? I remember when Rebecca called me when they were stationed over there and said," You'll never guess who I saw at Cameron's softball game." Small world huh?

I swear she almost rolled over all the way the day we came to visit you when she was only a few days old! I was so amazed! Thanks for your sweet comment. Black and pink is fabulous. Everything else I have is boyish, it will be great to have one girly thing for me :)
