Happy 8th Anniversary to Us!

John and I met March 14, 2000.

We started dating in April and John came to my college graduation in early May.
He proposed and we were engaged on May 25, 2000.
9:45 am on August 3, 2000-Our Wedding
John was in boot camp over our first anniversary. This is in Seattle...our first station.
Astoria 2002. We had just moved to Astoria after John had spent our second anniversary away at school.
Rainbow Falls 2003- John's ship was away at sea for our 3rd anniversary so we took this trip earlier in the summer.
July 2004 - I only had one month left until Miss Fabulous arrived. This year we spent our anniversary together for the first time and John surprised me with a new ring!
Somehow I missed 2005 so here's July 2006. Moving to Hawaii, we stayed over a couple of days in San Francisco to get the car shipped over and sight see a little.
Early in the year 2007...on a whale watching cruise.
December 2007...out on the town together in Salt Lake City!
May 2008...this is the best picture I could come up with...so, so sad. I guess I'll have to get some after we get ready for church today. Maybe try to get MF to take some of us! :0)
I can't believe its been 8 years! We have had lots of fun, learned more each day, and have loved and grown together over the few short years we have been together thus far. I can't wait to see what our future holds for us!
I love you John!

I love it! What a great way to celebrate your anniversary! Mark will be gone for our 20th on the
3rd of September. He also has miss a lot of them. Oh well, we will celebrate when he gets home. Have a wonderful day!

Nearly 5 weeks...

I've been told I need to update the blog so here are several pictures of little Star. She is now just over 11 lbs. and just shy of 23" long. She is just a bit big. Miss Fabulous was nearly 4 months old before she got as big as our Star! She is fun and really cuddly. She really loves to eat (thus the big size!) and sleep but seems to be wanting to be on the move. John has dubbed her "Scooter" because she is never where we put her. She rolled over from her back to her tummy the other day! Still not great at night...sometime she just wants to be awake, but last night she slept 7 hours straight and I'm hoping its the beginning of a trend! Miss Fabulous just LOVES her little sister and is always trying to help. MF is doing a little better in school with a lot of help from her teacher and some from us at home. We are starting her in a program at school where they help children deal with transition, which seems to be the biggest part of her problem. The progr...
