Just call me Metal Mouth

I got my braces on today...well, half of them anyway. The upper half. The lower half will be put on on November 17th. Just before Thanksgiving. So much for eating a ton of food! This may be the best diet ever! Anyway. I took some pictures but haven't loaded them yet. Oh, and while we were in Maui, I got my hair cut. So did Miss Fabulous. She looks a little more mischievous, if that's possible. Anyway...so far, so good on the braces front. No pain, just weirdness. When Miss Fabulous saw me she said, "Mommy, why do you have those sparkles on your teeth?" and every time I smile she tells me she can see my sparkles. She's too cute. Maybe calling them sparkles will make the bill not as severe. Maybe. :0)

You just wait, they wont feel to good in a while.... At least for the first week you will only be able to eat soft foods, so stock up on soup and pudding!! Hope all goes well, cant wait to see your pictures, I should be getting my top braces next month!! Then we will be twinners!! hehehehe LOL

Nearly 5 weeks...

I've been told I need to update the blog so here are several pictures of little Star. She is now just over 11 lbs. and just shy of 23" long. She is just a bit big. Miss Fabulous was nearly 4 months old before she got as big as our Star! She is fun and really cuddly. She really loves to eat (thus the big size!) and sleep but seems to be wanting to be on the move. John has dubbed her "Scooter" because she is never where we put her. She rolled over from her back to her tummy the other day! Still not great at night...sometime she just wants to be awake, but last night she slept 7 hours straight and I'm hoping its the beginning of a trend! Miss Fabulous just LOVES her little sister and is always trying to help. MF is doing a little better in school with a lot of help from her teacher and some from us at home. We are starting her in a program at school where they help children deal with transition, which seems to be the biggest part of her problem. The progr...
