Sucked In

While Miss Fabulous, John and I were feeding the Koi fish, Tina and Stefanie went inside in search of something to drink. We waited for them to join us, then gave up and went in search of them. This is where we found them:
The Maui Divers Jewelry company were doing their usual "free spin" tactic and the girls got sucked in. In the Free spin, you get to spin their box of coupons and then pull one out. Tina got 50% off and Stefanie got 60% off...a pearl. Not the setting...just the pearl. When John and I did this a year ago we stopped at the pearl. The girls didn't. Tina was pretty happy about her purchase...her one true souvenir.
Stefanie didn't seem to want to part with her money OR with the setting. She eventually parted with her money and got a beautiful leafy setting for her peachy colored pearl.
Tina's black pearl in her plumeria setting. The lady gave Tina this pearl for free and then gave her another shell (also for free) which ended up having two beautiful purple pearls in it.
The same lady then asked Miss Fabulous if she wanted one too. She said yes and got a slightly pink pearl. She calls it her shiny pink ball.

This is an incomplete list of the things I'm trying to do before December 15. I know I'm missing a few things but you get the idea. I wish I had more time, but at the same time, I know I would just waste it and end up doing everything at the last minute anyway. Nearly 5 weeks...

I've been told I need to update the blog so here are several pictures of little Star. She is now just over 11 lbs. and just shy of 23" long. She is just a bit big. Miss Fabulous was nearly 4 months old before she got as big as our Star! She is fun and really cuddly. She really loves to eat (thus the big size!) and sleep but seems to be wanting to be on the move. John has dubbed her "Scooter" because she is never where we put her. She rolled over from her back to her tummy the other day! Still not great at night...sometime she just wants to be awake, but last night she slept 7 hours straight and I'm hoping its the beginning of a trend! Miss Fabulous just LOVES her little sister and is always trying to help. MF is doing a little better in school with a lot of help from her teacher and some from us at home. We are starting her in a program at school where they help children deal with transition, which seems to be the biggest part of her problem. The progr...
