Shark Infested Waters

Wednesday we went out on a boat. Not just any boat. A boat with one of these:
Yep, its a cage. Just a few bars separating Tina and Stefanie and a mass of hungry sharks. Well...that was the plan anyway. But then we got out there and Miss Fabulous insisted she was going to swim with the sharks too. So, we all went in.
Waiting for the first group to be done.
Here sharky sharky.
Woah now...there's a few sharks!
Afterward. I'm going to try to get a few pictures off the DVD of us actually in the cage. I'm having issues with it right now but we'll see if it can be done. Miss Fabulous did pretty good, but after getting smacked in the face a couple times by waves she decided she was done. They pulled us back in and one of the guys in the other group (in the background of the picture) held her while we finished our time. It was interesting but I'm not one for drinking salt water either, plus I smacked my head on the cage at one point and I couldn't get my goggles to stay unfogged. It was far from scary...the sharks didn't seem to even care that we were there...but I have to admit, they were a lot cooler to look at from the boat. You could see so many more of them from there and got to watch the crew put bait out for them and see them fight for it. I'm pretty sure I won't be spending my money on this again, it is probably my least favorite thing we've done but I'm still glad I did it.
