What A Week!

If you read my previous post you'll know what a busy time I've been having. Here are a few pictures. Sorry they aren't too good. I haven't been very careful and I've been trying not to use my flash as much lately which usually results in slightly blurry to really blurry pictures. Some of the pictures were taken with an underwater camera too. Anyway. Here we go:
At the Visitor's Center in Laie.
Miss Fabulous strutting her stuff on the Temple grounds.
Emily and Matt with their usual looks...hehehe.
Miss Fabulous and I waiting for dinner.
On our kayak excursion! We paddled out to Flat Island (I'm sure it has a different name but that's what the guides called it) and walked around. This island is a protected bird habitat. It was interesting and fun!
On Flat Island. We saw many of the birds (can't remember what they're called and don't have the ambition to look it up) as they were nesting. These birds live at sea and come to land (this island) only to nest. They weren't skittish at all and we saw them up close. We also saw LOTS of little black crab on this island.
We took a tour on the U.S.S. Missouri. It was interesting for us but Miss Fabulous was getting pretty antsy toward the end. Good thing they take your picture as you go in!
Matt and Em getting ready to boogie board!
And some BIG news...John's pineapple was finally ready to pick! He plucked it off, cut it up, and we enjoyed the fruits (hehehe) of his labors! Way to go John! Now only 14 more months until the next one.

I love John's homegrown pineapple! I hope it tasted as good as it looks; fresh pineapple is definitely a favorite for me!!

I had no clue that Emily and Matt came to visit! How cool. Natalie really enjoyed the letter she got from Faye! Thanks a ton! Sarah
