When I Blog
Apparently it has to be at 5 a.m. 'cause there's no way its getting done otherwise. John got up this morning at 4 and left for work, which usually means he is catching a ferry to an island. I was only half awake, but then, as he was closing the back door, I remembered it is Valentines Day and he might want the things I got for him. I was too late though so I guess he'll get them this evening.
Here are a few recent-ish pictures:
Dash, with a messy face and a flower in his hair. Ahhh, the life of a boy with older sisters. I think I might have similar pictures of John this way too...
This...is a mess. But it is also my "before" picture of my soon-to-be craft space. It won't be nearly as beautiful as others (we aren't installing a ceiling and the walls are cement), but it will be a space that I can work and not have to clean it up every time we want to eat a meal.
Star walking home with Dash and I from taking MF to the bus stop. She LOVES boots and her elephant jammies and her "blue" (her blue coat). She wants to go on a walk every day. We are in the throes of potty training, but it is going very slow since some days she feels like it and some not. She is one very stubborn little girl, but I love her to pieces!
Star also loves "heh-cockers" (helicopters) and "ahhpwanes" (airplanes). We went with Miss Fab and her 4H group to take a tour of some Coast Guard hangars. She was so excited to be able to sit in this CG airplane! She did NOT want to get out.
We celebrated John's birthday at home with these guys. MF and Dash loved watching and touching them, Star...not so much. She kept running away screaming "Monsters!!!" The food was delicious and we enjoyed spending a nice evening together.
This is at Miss Fab's concert. She has way too much energy. The kids all sang and did a great job! I took some video for John since he couldn't be there, so maybe I'll see if I can load one on here.
I guess I was typing too loud, there's Dash talking in his crib. Good morning to you world!
