Pictomania

I was going through a few of my photos and realized I really skipped over quite a bit at the beginning of the month. I won't put everything into this one post, I still need to get pictures of the iPod to complete it all. You can breathe a sigh of relief.
This is my new chair and a canvas I had made of one of the turtle pictures I took a couple of years ago. I love those turtle pictures and thought I did a great job and have only now had one printed. I'm very happy with the results! I may have to have a couple more printed for a series. Both of these things are going in my craft space downstairs. I'm thrilled with both of them. They were a happy birthday to me present!

I had fully intended to take pictures of our Primary Activity (the first one I put on!!!) for the children at church. They painted pictures on canvas. Their paintings were of various things but really, they were all great! I have come to love most forms of art. Because I know these children and love their individuality, I love their paintings. They did a wonderful job and looked like they had fun doing it. We will be displaying them at the church at an open house in the future!

THIS little man is a climber. He thinks its pretty funny too...until he realizes he can't get down. He is quite the silly boy!

Danger? What are you talking about? Aren't I cute?

Putting his feelers (feet) out so see if he can get down without falling. I am constantly pulling this guy off of stuff. I fully expect to find him on the fridge someday.

Miss Fabulous wanted her picture taken. I don't blame her. She used to get her picture taken all the time, but now she is at school during the day and we hardly ever see her. She loves the earrings her cousin gave her!

Star. She is personality. I'm going to go out on a limb and say she is potty trained!!! Okay, we are still working on night time, but I'm pretty happy with it! She is amazing though. She just goes and yells that she is going potty as she runs in the bathroom. Occasionally she will demand a sucker when she is done, but that is rare enough that we usually consent. She asked me where her glasses were the other day. She had found these sunglasses belonging to Dash and then she realized that everyone had some form of glasses except her. She has been spouting all kinds of wisdom these days! I know I should record them somewhere. I know I will miss this stage when it is gone.

My girls. Such a clash in personalities, ages, everything. Sometimes they do get along, most of the time we are telling Star to be nice and MF to stand up for herself. I'm not sure what else to do. I hope they work it out eventually. If only MF knew how much Star looks up to her and mimics her, and if only Star knew how much MF adores having a sister and a playmate. These two really bring to mind my older sister and I. Nearly the same age difference and very similar personalities. I'm afraid Star is more like me than anything...and she has taken it to another level. MF is similar to my older sister in my opinion. We really didn't get along until...well, until sometime after I had Miss Fabulous.

I have been fighting a cold. Today, thanks to help from several people, I was able to stay home from church to try to get some rest and hopefully not spread germs around. I'm happy that this cold came this week and not any other, since I teach Sharing Time at church ever other Sunday. Dash stayed home with me (it is right in the middle of his nap time) and I managed to snap this picture of my little charmer before the battery in my camera died. Now if only I could find the charger...
