Snowbuilders

First, look where I found Dash the other day. I usually have this closet locked, but apparently it wasn't even closed this day. Last week was February break here for the kids. Before moving here, there wasn't any such thing. I still don't know why they have it here except to stretch out the school year even longer. Anyway, it snowed one day and the girls went out to make snow men...or a snow queen as Miss Fabulous informed me.

I was really surprised at how involved Star was with hers. She made a very cute little baby snowman and spent quite a while out there working on it. She refused the mittens that fit her and I put my hat on her after scrounging around for hers. My hat kept slipping down over her eyes, but she kept on working.

I finally found her "bowd" hat...in the car of all places. I swear our car is the black hole. It gets that way very quickly and then John will clean it out and shove everything in the wheelbarrow in the garage. If I'm missing something, I usually check there. See...we ARE organized. Organized into a giant heap in the wheelbarrow.

Starting to roll the head.

It was a really wet snow and we didn't get very much. It turned to rain before they were done.

I had to take a picture of this guy. He wanted to crawl around in the snow. As it was, I had to bribe Star with hot chocolate to come inside. She was soaked through and her little hands were bright red, but she still wanted to work on her snowbaby. It was such a cozy day! I love days like that!
