May Day
Thursday, the 6th of May, was Miss Fab's school May Day. May Day is a day set aside to celebrate the sugar cane and plantation workers. Immigrants were brought into Hawaii from many countries to work the different fields. The different places represented at MF's school were Africa, China, Japan, all of Polynesia (meaning many lands), and the USA. The kindergarten represented the USA and sang "Party in the USA". I got most of it on video, but blogger does not allow videos that large so we'll settle for a little...er..."blurp". MF was way in the back so it was hard to see her. I thought their dance was VERY cute and well done!
