Working on stuff

I've been trying to get a few more things done in Star's room. We moved the piano out of there and down into the dining room/kitchen...just about the only place left that it would fit. Now Miss Fabulous wants to "practice" the piano all the time. John's been working with her a little to teach her the notes and finger placement, etc. She's just eating it up like crazy!
We still have to post and sell the TV armoire so we can get it out of Star's room to make room for the crib and changing table/dresser. We bought paint so we can finish both of those items too. I also ordered some super cute material and I'm just waiting for it to arrive...should be here early next week!
I did this:

It used to be blue denim and I was trying to find some material to re-do it and remembered I had several yards of this cute daisy flannel I bought about 3 or more years ago. I like the way it turned out, it sure made a difference in the room!
I also came across a sale at Old Navy and was able to get 8 pairs of pants, 8 shirts, and a swimsuit for just over $40 (for Star and Miss Fabulous). Still a great deal...I may have to go back.
I've been doing a pretty good job at keeping the house clean this week. Then again, I've been home to actually clean it so I guess that makes a difference.
Maybe I should start sewing those skirts MF and I are supposed to wear to my sister's wedding while I'm waiting for the fabric for Star's room?
Oh! And before I forget...Miss Fabulous decided she can swim. We've been going to the pool every Friday with friends and yesterday MF not only decided she could hold her breath under water, but that she could swim from one side to another. I couldn't believe it was the same girl who refused to get in the water without a life jacket only a couple weeks ago! Yay MF!

Yay for all your productivity! I got tired just making kidneys and body parts when I was pregnant and never seemed to be able to accomplish anything else! I love the rocking chair-redo...you did awesome! Wow! Congrats to MF on swimming, she is one accomplished chica!
