THAT is the Question.

Okay, I love music. There's usually something playing in my kitchen and there's always something playing in my car. I love it. I may not know who the artist is or even the title of the song (makes it hard to find what I like, I must admit), but usually I know the words. I'm also not that great of a singer. I mean, I can stay on tune, but no one is going to come up to me and say, "Wow! You have a beautiful voice!" or "You should be on American Idol! You'd totally win!" I just have an average voice, which is fine with me. I know I'm safe from being the lady in the Pharmacy who was belting out "How much is that Puppy (I thought it was doggy) in the Window" to her infant like an opera singer. I just smiled and went on my way. But seriously, I have a dilema...Music or No Music. I have gone back and forth over this many times with myself. I love music, but not everyone does and not always when they're reading. I took the music off my blog at one point but I know there's at least a couple people out there who go to my blog to listen to music (they've told me...I'm not just hopeful) AND I do that myself sometimes (althought the new iPod is fast winning that battle for most played in the kitchen). One of my favorite blogs...Carrot Jello (in the sidebar) has great music...I Love it! And I go there frequently just to listen to what's new, but I also read somewhere that music on a blog is a big NO and I know not everyone likes the same music I like. They could just push pause on the player, but its at the bottom...I could put it on the side so they wouldn't have to scroll all the way down... I Just Don't Know. So I will put it to the people that matter to me...music or no music? That is the Question.

i love to listen to the music. maybe putting it in the sidebar is a good idea. i too have been considering that. i love the music on my blog, but lots of people check blogs at work or whatever... and because of that... they don't want the music on. ahhh who knows.

Leave the music. If they don't like it, have they heard of a pause button.

Reverting Back

Summer Fade

 Summer is drawing to an end. We have traveled to AZ and UT. Played far too many video games and watched entirely too much TV. Workbooks were provided by myself with incentive to anyone who finished would get a large prize...no takers. No mom school this year...that may be a thing of the past with all these kids growing up.  John announced his retirement for next year and we are on the hunt for a place to finally settle into for next year. Nearer to family sounds great. New England has a lot to offer too. Our money will stretch a lot farther in a LCOL area like Iowa or Ohio. We do love being near the ocean or water and did love Alaska. This is going to be harder than I thought. The kids are going back to school and, since we live in SoCal now, we will continue to experience summer. I'm still not sure what MissFab is doing this year. Star started her Sophomore year of high school and she is nearly a week in. Nearly 5 weeks...

I've been told I need to update the blog so here are several pictures of little Star. She is now just over 11 lbs. and just shy of 23" long. She is just a bit big. Miss Fabulous was nearly 4 months old before she got as big as our Star! She is fun and really cuddly. She really loves to eat (thus the big size!) and sleep but seems to be wanting to be on the move. John has dubbed her "Scooter" because she is never where we put her. She rolled over from her back to her tummy the other day! Still not great at night...sometime she just wants to be awake, but last night she slept 7 hours straight and I'm hoping its the beginning of a trend! Miss Fabulous just LOVES her little sister and is always trying to help. MF is doing a little better in school with a lot of help from her teacher and some from us at home. We are starting her in a program at school where they help children deal with transition, which seems to be the biggest part of her problem. The progr...
