The Festival of the Trees

Today we had a great day at the Festival of the Trees. Miss Fabulous and I went with my sister, Joanna, and my brother, Jeremy, and his wife, Becky. We only saw about a third of what they had there but the trees were amazing! All the trees are donated and then auctioned off with the money going to the Primary Children's Hospital. Aside from the large trees, they also had wreaths, small trees, gingerbread houses, shows, and little shops where you could buy donated homemade items. It was a great day!
Miss Fabulous made a reindeer hat. She loved the Kids Corner they had. There was several different crafts and games for the kids! It was so much fun!
Working on our sand-bottle neclaces.
Getting manicures together!
This was an upside-down tree with fairies all over it. It was enchanting!
This tree and all the books were donated by a family who's baby boy had died before they had been able to read him a story. It had over 500 books and an amazing quilt!
This was The Girl's favorite tree. It has Care Bears all over it with an angel Care Bear at the top.
I just thought this one was cute with all the duckies on it!
The Under the Sea tree. It really looked like it could be a mermaid's tree!
This was a quilted Nativity. The detail was awe-inspiring!

The peppermint tree.
The Giraffe/Safari tree. It was too funny to not take a picture.
There was also a Superman tree, a hotwheels tree, a star wars tree, along with lots of just decorative trees and many, many other themed trees!
