National Monument to The Forefathers

My parents and John's parents and sister were in town a week or so ago for Miss Fab's baptism.  While my parents were busy driving the long drive from their house, the rest of us went to find some historical markers.
 This monument was very amazing and very big!
 Each part of it represented something with Faith being the top.
 Under each larger statue was a historical event carved out of stone.  Also, carved into the block that each is sitting on were smaller figures.  Education was sitting on two named Youth on one side and Wisdom on the other.
 We all managed to get in a picture...and not without a little attitude from some.
 I did like that the statues named Law and Liberty (both portrayed as men) had pupils carved in and felt as if they were looking at you and holding you accountable for maintaining both.  The two smaller statues on the sides of Law were Mercy and Justice and on Liberty were Tyranny and Peace.
 This one was named Morality and her two smaller statues were Prophets and Evangelist.
 What a great piece of history!

This is an incomplete list of the things I'm trying to do before December 15. I know I'm missing a few things but you get the idea. I wish I had more time, but at the same time, I know I would just waste it and end up doing everything at the last minute anyway. Nearly 5 weeks...

I've been told I need to update the blog so here are several pictures of little Star. She is now just over 11 lbs. and just shy of 23" long. She is just a bit big. Miss Fabulous was nearly 4 months old before she got as big as our Star! She is fun and really cuddly. She really loves to eat (thus the big size!) and sleep but seems to be wanting to be on the move. John has dubbed her "Scooter" because she is never where we put her. She rolled over from her back to her tummy the other day! Still not great at night...sometime she just wants to be awake, but last night she slept 7 hours straight and I'm hoping its the beginning of a trend! Miss Fabulous just LOVES her little sister and is always trying to help. MF is doing a little better in school with a lot of help from her teacher and some from us at home. We are starting her in a program at school where they help children deal with transition, which seems to be the biggest part of her problem. The progr...
