Chillin'
I'm not sure why I haven't taken a bunch of pictures lately. I have a couple of cameras to work with and its not like my girls have gotten any less cute. It may be due to my lack of energy, or because I'm too busy being a bum on the couch to go do all the fun stuff with John and the girls. John doesn't usually remember the camera because, well, that's my job.
So (on a totally different subject), we are doing an experiment. Our car, although made 9 years ago, is giving us grief all the time. Well, not ALL the time, but we have definitely put more into it in the last year than I would have liked. We are starting to think that it won't last a lot longer. Maybe 2 or 3 years, if that. We'd like to see what we could afford SO we are now making a "car payment" to ourselves over the next 6 to 12 months to see how we fare and how much we think we can afford. John apparently thinks we need an expensive car considering the amount he's having me put away. We'll see when the time comes. IF our car holds out for 2 or 3 more years, we should be able to pay cash for it with the money we've put away. Wish us luck on our experiment. I'm getting better at being thrifty (I THOUGHT I was good before) but John and I are quite used to doing what we want and when we want instead of planning and saving. It should be an interesting year.
Star fell asleep relaxing in her bean bag.
She LOVES this thing. Miss Fabulous got a pink one and Star wants to do whatever MF does. So, on movie nights, the girls get their bags and John and I get to snuggle on the couch.
John made some yummy calamari (along with lobster and scallops) for our New Year feast! I love that we are able to have a dinner like that for a fraction of what it would cost in a restaurant! I love that John cooks too!
The girls all ready for church. They got their cute new shoes from a friend in Hawaii (thanks Erika!). I don't think I would have ever let them pick them out, but I LOVE them. I may have to look into cute shoes more often rather than just sensible black all the time.

It snowed here a couple of days ago. John took Miss Fabulous sledding. They both loved it but I wasn't there to take pictures. Hopefully we'll get out this weekend to sled and get a few pictures and try to get Star on a sled too.
Last of all, things are going well with the baby. I'm 33 weeks and doing fine, although I definitely feel bigger and slower these days. I somehow hurt myself getting into the car after church last Sunday, but thankfully it only lasted a couple of days. Little Star is into everything and is quite the climber and I'm hoping I can handle so much energy as well as a tiny baby boy. He'll be here soon enough!
