I'm having a rough time coming up with anything clever and I'd like to add a now-a-days in there but I'm not sure I ever really do come up with anything clever. I enjoy reading many a blog and wish I could take an ordinary experience and turn it into a masterpiece. That's just not the way I am. I could probably talk your ear off, but in writing...not so much. So here's what we've been up to lately:My aunt flew out here and stayed over on her way to Samoa, however she missed her flight out on Thursday and flights are only on Thursdays and Sundays. The plan was that she would fly out there with her friends on Thursday and my uncle and a cousin would fly out here on Saturday, then fly to Samoa to join her on Sunday. Since she missed her Thursday flight, she stayed around here and planned to fly out with my uncle and cousin. So we went to Waimea (said Why-may-uh) Falls which, as you can tell from the picture of Miss Fabulous and I, was flowing quite nicely. It was too cold to swim, although several people did. We were shivering in our shorts...we are going to die of cold when we move from here! We also went out to lunch and then hit the outlet mall to see if we could find some really cheap capris for my aunt.

The next day, John called from work and asked if I would be mad if he traded his car for a surf board. I was feeling generous and said I didn't care what he did with his car since he rarely uses it anyway. He came home and sold his car that evening and bought the board the next day.
I do have to say, the board is nice...but I sorta feel like he almost gave away his car since he only sold it for the amount of the board. What's done is done and he has already taken the board out and loves it. I'm thinking I may have just lost my husband to yet another thing.

You will never lose your husband because he loves you very much. He thinks about you all time, like when he thinks about coming in and going home instead of the wave or when he thinks about finishing his round of golf a little quicker. He always wants to get home to his wonderful wife and daughter. He will neve leave you.
