Little bits of catching up

The end of the pie.
This pie was my breakfast for several days following Thanksgiving. I made 4 pies and a cake and this was all I had. Not a slice of pumpkin pie...I guess I'll just have to make more!
This is our advent calendar. With the suggestion of Heffalump, we filled it with activities to do with our family (and some with friends) up until Christmas. This picture was actually taken to show the blue paint on the walls which is on every wall in the vicinity. Miss Fabulous wanted to add her decorating techniques to our house too. Her privileges have been revoked.


With Santa at our church party. Yes, he's barefoot. Isn't everyone in Hawaii?

At the parade near our home. It was all of about 3 seconds long. Then they had activities for the kids and lots of booths trying to get you to sign up for stuff you don't need. We didn't stay long.

I have more to post but I've got deadlines for Christmas gifts and I'm still working away!

Did you guys ever do your Good Mail Girls ornaments? I was curious as to what happened there.
I know she's a challenge (blue paint) but what would we do without her.

This is an incomplete list of the things I'm trying to do before December 15. I know I'm missing a few things but you get the idea. Nearly 5 weeks...

I've been told I need to update the blog so here are several pictures of little Star. She is now just over 11 lbs. and just shy of 23" long. She is just a bit big. Miss Fabulous was nearly 4 months old before she got as big as our Star! She is fun and really cuddly. She really loves to eat (thus the big size!) and sleep but seems to be wanting to be on the move. John has dubbed her "Scooter" because she is never where we put her. She rolled over from her back to her tummy the other day! Still not great at night...sometime she just wants to be awake, but last night she slept 7 hours straight and I'm hoping its the beginning of a trend! Miss Fabulous just LOVES her little sister and is always trying to help. MF is doing a little better in school with a lot of help from her teacher and some from us at home. We are starting her in a program at school where they help children deal with transition, which seems to be the biggest part of her problem. The progr...
