Happy Birthday to this girl...

Little Star is 2!


Dear Star, I love you so much and cannot believe you are getting to be such a big girl! You are the sweetest little challenge I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. You are just now starting to love books and games. You love everyone in such a big way, it makes me smile every time. You remind me of me in a lot of ways and maybe that is why you get away with a lot...we understand each other. I cannot wait to see what kind of girl you become, but I dread it too. Don't grow too fast, I already miss your baby-ness. You are a blessing to us and we all love you eternally!

This is an incomplete list of the things I'm trying to do before December 15. I know I'm missing a few things but you get the idea. I wish I had more time, but at the same time, I know I would just waste it and end up doing everything at the last minute anyway. Nearly 5 weeks...

I've been told I need to update the blog so here are several pictures of little Star. She is now just over 11 lbs. and just shy of 23" long. She is just a bit big. Miss Fabulous was nearly 4 months old before she got as big as our Star! She is fun and really cuddly. She really loves to eat (thus the big size!) and sleep but seems to be wanting to be on the move. John has dubbed her "Scooter" because she is never where we put her. She rolled over from her back to her tummy the other day! Still not great at night...sometime she just wants to be awake, but last night she slept 7 hours straight and I'm hoping its the beginning of a trend! Miss Fabulous just LOVES her little sister and is always trying to help. MF is doing a little better in school with a lot of help from her teacher and some from us at home. We are starting her in a program at school where they help children deal with transition, which seems to be the biggest part of her problem. The progr...
