I got nothin'

Really. Maybe I should let this blog go the way of the world. I'm never consistent and most of the time it seems like no one really reads it. I do love the sense of accomplishment I get when I finally post something, but those times are few and far between. I am posting now because 3 weeks is just way too long between posts.
I could be playing mindless games or possible reading books or shopping online or house hunting online though. That's right, house hunting. Its pointless really, to house hunt online. Especially when you aren't sure when you'll actually be moving. SOME houses have been on the market for more than 180 days, so I guess its possible that we could buy a house that is online now...but its not likely.
Oh, yeah...we're moving to the East Coast. I've never lived farther east than Arizona, unless you count Germany...which I don't. Germany is also, by far, the coldest place I've lived too. And that was more than 20 years ago. I'm trying to gear up for the move, the cold, the small town, and a small house and smaller income. We are planning on driving across the country, with our first stop being Disneyland and Sea World.
I can't tell you how nervous I am. I don't think I've been this nervous about a move before. We haven't travelled with Star yet so we aren't sure how she'll do on such a long drive. Its more than that that is making me nervous but I'm not sure if I can pinpoint it right now.
Miss Fabulous started soccer. I should post pictures, and I'm sure I will eventually, but not right now. I was trying to get this posted before Star woke up from her nap, but it seems like she is only going to take a 20 min. nap this morning.
I joined a local Biggest Loser competition. I'm really enjoying exercising but I am having a hard time getting out of the house to do it. Either I take kid(s) with me (ugh) or I go really early in the morning. I'm up usually so I have been going at 5 a.m. Last week, GREAT! This week, not so good. John's been leaving even earlier so that cuts out my 5 a.m. time. Next week will be better. This week, I'm just doing what I can and watching my calorie intake. So far, no difference in weight though...but I at least feel like I'm doing all I can and the rest will come.
John wants to get me a new bike for my birthday. I'm not sure I need a new bike right before we move to a much colder climate. I WOULD love to get one of those beach cruiser bikes...but they are so pricey! We'll see if I can budget it in.
I guess I had better get Star out of bed and try to build up some motivation to get some things done around the house. Have a good day!

I read your blog! I don't post on mine...but I read other peoples!!
I live on this cold East Coast and I have never used my bike more! Of course it's mostly spring, early summer, and fall that I ride, but when the weather isn't crazy hot, or super chilly, it's my favorite East Coast transportation. I can ride to downtown, and around the little village we live in. It's great!
How exciting your moving!! You will have to come visit us and see DC, and we will come visit you to see Nantucket and Martha's Vinyard.
Good luck on the house hunt! It's an awesome time to be on one!

I always read your blog.
My advice when people consider dropping their blog is, just hold on to it. Don't post if you don't feel like it, but someday you may feel like it and wish you hadn't deleted it. It's okay to take bloggy breaks, and if you lose readers during that, it's okay.
I for one, keep people's feeds, so even if they don't post often, I usually find out when they do again.

I read your blog and love to see new posts. Where are you transfering too? Anywhere near WI? Yes, the cold and the snow suck but you'll make it through. Plus it's a super good excuse to buy Uggs.
