The Queen is Dead

We usually get to church fairly early so that #1 we can get the short bench for our little family, #2 John can help the boys get the sacrament ready, and #3 - and most important of all - Miss Fabulous can pass out stickers to all who are as early as we are. She has become known as "the sticker girl". Where does she get all the stickers? Grandma and aunts are aware of her service and provide stacks of them...which is how we got started in the first place. (by the way...we are running low you guys)
Anyway, 5 minutes before church starts we make her sit down and get ready for church. I have made her a sacrament book with pictures of Jesus, the prophets, and temples as well as the words to the songs that the children will learn that year. She can look at that during the sacrament and then afterward she is allowed either a notebook for drawing or writing or the Friend (a children's magazine made by our church) to look at. She doesn't read that well yet so she usually picks the notebook. Yesterday she wrote both John and I a letter (they usually say the same thing...DER MOM/DAD I LUV YO LUV Miss Fab) and on the bottom of my letter was a cat with a crown and the bottom of John's letter was a dog with a crown. Then she told me that the cat is a princess and the dog is the king and the queen is dead.
I didn't really think anything of it, just chuckled to myself and went back to listening but later when relating the story to a friend over dinner I started to think...wait...what is it she's trying to say? In her world she is the princess, John's the king...I'm the queen. I'm thinking things are not looking so great for me.

ps...14 weeks and things are going great. Thanks for all your prayers! :0)

#3 got mad at me during church once and drew a picture of a stick person with an x for each eye and said it was me. Then he drew a second stick person standing over the other one smiling and labelled it him...
So it could be worse...

It could be worse, she could've done like Hunter does, and says she hates me. :)

Anyway, I don't blame you guys for waiting to tell about pregnancies. If I had gone through that too, I'm sure I'd feel the same way as you. I'm glad to hear that things are going well so far this time around, and I hope it continues that way. MF will be a GREAT big sis I'm sure of it! :)
