November Randomness

We just made pumpkin ice cream and pumpkin pie and they both turned out beautifully.
Miss Fabulous has been testing out her tiny sewing machine and I think she and I are both ready to throw it out the window.  I think she'll be learning on my machine soon.
John is still working on our old family car, trying to get it ready to sell.  He fabricated a tool today so he could fix one part. Hopefully he can get it done before Christmas so we have a little money to play with!  Its so nice to have a handy man around.
Our new car is nice and I'm really starting to love having it!  Now John's car is acting up.  We just can't win in the car department lately.
I'm feeling pretty good.  Short tempered, but other than that...
Hurricane Sandy came through right before Halloween (I may have mentioned it before) and did little, if any, damage around here.  Now we have a nor'easter blowing through and it is a LOT stronger than the hurricane.  I find it funny/interesting.  That is all.
Miss Fabulous is doing okay on her school work.  We have somewhat slacked off since making the decision to send her back to school after the new year.  I need to renew my efforts so she isn't behind at all when she goes back.
Star is so LOUD.  Any little thing that does not go the way she'd like, and she is open-mouthed, top of her lungs, fake crying.  I'm about to buy a bunch of duct tape in a variety of colors so it will match her outfits.  Maybe I only need two colors because she refuses to listen to any advice from me on coordinating colors or patterns when it comes to her clothes.  Plus she'd also like to wear dresses, mostly sun dresses, every day.  Even if it is snowing.  Or raining with 37 degree temperatures and 50 MPH winds.  On the other hand, she is a delight.
Dash is spouting out new words all the time but still loves "No".  This "No" is always followed by a huge grin.  He has been known to dance whenever he feels like it and will try to be outside no matter what.  He can also be found carrying 3-7 objects in his hands at almost any moment of the day.  The over all favorites seem to be Little People, My Little Ponys, bolts and nuts from his tool set, and the little guys that go to his chunky lego set.
My dining room chairs need a serious scrub down.
I have been released from Primary.  I am relieved and stressed about this at the same time.
We go on Tuesday next week for our ultrasound of the baby.  Exciting times!
