Behind the Scenes
This last week was spring break here. So far, we haven't seen a lot of what I'd call Spring weather, but every once in a while we get a nice day. Having Miss Fabulous home all day was both good and not so good. She ended up with Strep, so we tested Star too just to be sure (they share a room), and sure enough she also had it. Thankfully they like the medicine so its not SUCH a fight to get them to take it.
The weather was decent on Thursday so the girls and I dug around in the dirt and planted some bulbs and pulled weeds and threw rocks around. We got about half of one of the garden areas done.
John had Friday off since he was working on Saturday so we spent the day going from store to store gathering things we needed and then John took Miss Fabulous ice skating.
Saturday after John left for work, Miss Fabulous and I got to work cleaning up as much of the house as we could before we ran out of energy! I think we did a great job...especially with Star undoing things about as fast as they got done and us having to stop for Phineas and Ferb breaks (whenever Dash got hungry).
John came home, got the girls, and took them to the store with them. Unfortunately he didn't take Dash so I ended up spending most of my time taking care of him (he was pretty cranky that day). I finally got him to sleep and about 15 minutes later John came home. They have great timing!
So anyway, I spent the rest of the day finishing up MF's and Star's Easter dresses, cutting out and sewing a skirt for myself, and making ties for the boys. I did take a few breaks from sewing to make some lasagna for dinner, dye Easter eggs, and show John how to make some flowers out of satin (I really needed some help!). In the end, I got everything I wanted done and was in bed by just after midnight. So here are some pictures:

This is the best one with me and the girls...and none of us are looking at the camera. At least my hair looks somewhat nice!
Star is getting really good at climbing up and down stairs without help and without having to crawl up and down.

I wish I could say it is easy to get pictures, but it isn't. Here are a few other shots:
Star was just trying to destroy all the flowers. This picture was taken after she had already pulled a few apart.
