Last day
Maybe I'll just stick with posting on the last day of each month. I'm not doing so well at taking pictures either. I am now 33 weeks along with number 4 and numbers 2 and 3 are keeping me quite busy. Dash has a bit of a cold that is hanging on for dear life. He has great communication and his vocabulary seems to grow daily. He has found all the baseball bats in the house and enjoys using them on everything and everyone he can. They now live in the garage.
Star is obsessed with movies. That's all she wants to do all the time now. It drives me crazy to be constantly telling her no and then listening to her cry like her life has just ended. There are definitely days that I just want to put on movie after movie, not only to appease her but also to get a few things done around the house without major meltdowns and breaking up fights. Dash and Star play well together, but sometimes that play goes south. Star has started telling stories. They are very far fetched and quite entertaining, but I'm beginning to wonder if she really believes her stories. She can be a lot of fun and a lot of work at the same time!
Miss Fabulous is doing better in school, I think. She is growing up and starting to ask questions about things, which is a HUGE step for her. I don't think she likes asking me (or anyone) questions. I'm not sure why but I've always had to guess what was going on in her head and I'm usually wrong. Miss Fab also started gymnastics at the beginning of February and is doing okay. She is about as flexible as her dad, poor girl. She's determined to stick with it and I'm happy she wants to stick with something. She is all set to share her room with the new baby, although I'm not sure if she knows what that means. She will soon find out!
We have been fighting one car or another for so long, I'm not sure what it would be like to not be forking out money for parts every week or so. We sold the other car to a lady at church, but it has not been running right lately and John has been trying to get it fixed to the point where she won't have any trouble with it. Meanwhile, John's car has not been starting or will stall, so he finally replaced the starter, only to have the alternator go out. I.AM.DONE. Every bit of extra money keeps going to dumb cars (and gas UGH!) and I'd really like to be ready for this baby when she comes! Thankfully, we have a reliable family car and I don't have to worry about being stranded somewhere. I'm also thankful that John is as handy as he is and can fix pretty much anything.
I have two bags in the works, a quilt, some house projects, and some baby things I'm trying to get done by the end of March. Well, I was trying to get them done by the end of February, but I doubt I will get them all done today. Dash's 2nd birthday is next week and we are trying to be ready for that too. I cannot believe he is turning two. I've been fighting a cough for roughly a month. Finally found out it is a mild case of Bronchitis. This winter has been awful on us for sickness. We aren't usually this ill! We are staying home so we don't spread any germs we might have, but being stuck at home is starting to take its toll on me! And its tough trying to explain to the child that feels great that we can't go anywhere because another child is sick. I'm hoping we will all be better soon. March is already pretty packed with activities and appointments, I know it will fly by and then we will just be waiting for baby to make her appearance in April!
